This role will start initially as a contract role, with the likelihood of becoming a permanent employee. The business has a peak season in early spring and will give the opportunity for extra hours. Duties:
- Planning, scheduling, and assigning work to supervisors and team leaders
- Accomplish results and ensure daily objectives and labor requirements are met
- Responsible for conducting workflow audits to ensure proper work scheduling and prioritization
- Ensure workflow is being conducted in a safe and productive manner
- Provide training and development of all personnel assigned
- Ensure quality standards are implemented and met and corrective actions are taken when necessary
- Responsible for ensuring documentation processes and reporting are correct
- Previous experience as supervisor (5 years minimum)
- Past experience as a direct supervisor to groups of 20 or more employees
- Microsoft Office skills
- Proven leadership skills, strong interpersonal communication skills
- Competent problem solver and decision maker
- Reporting analytics on efficiencies back to management, ability to improve efficiencies in your department
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekend during our peak season
- $24/hour + shift premium, where applicable
- Contract opportunity with the likelihood of becoming Permanent at the end of probation
