Scope of the Position
Faced paced environment in the Automotive Industry requiring a motivated/self-starter, Accounts Payable Clerk/Professional to take charge.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Processes accounts payable in accordance with corporate internal control procedures including 3 way match.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; preparing vouchers; resolving purchase order/contract/ invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience working in all aspects of accounts payable.
- Experience with documentation flows, matching invoices with related receiving & purchase orders
- Vouchering, weekly cheque runs, eft's, wire transfers
- Filing/rotation of files,
- Documentation management,
- Strong organizational skills.
- Vendor master maintenance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel/spreadsheets, general ledger journal entries
- Vendor account/invoice research/investigation using business system (CMS) tools.
- Employee expense report processing/entry.
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal, efficient & effecting Vendor/Organizational communications required
Needs to be willing to get involved and be a proactive member of the team to get things done, with a tolerance for ambiguity.
